Congratulations!! I am so glad you went home first!! I had my youngest son as an emergency c-section ALONE! Less than ideal, but the anesthesiologist took some great pictures for us. 😂

OMG!! Alone is BRAVE. I am lucky my doctor said I could go home first. You are so selfless for doing what was right for the baby in that moment!

I had zero amniotic fluid at my 39 week appointment too.

It had been a couple days I felt “smaller” but I didn’t know why.

I was monitored and put on fluids overnight, c-section next morning.

That was just over 6 years ago.

This happened to me 2x! I was in shock but ultimately it went smoothly. Next time I’m just assuming I’ll have low fluid at my 37 w growth scan and bringing my hospital bag lol

I saw this story on Notes and it piqued my interest so I read the whole thing. Congratulations! I had a similar story with my first child’s birth (preeclampsia instead of amniotic fluid issue). It is indeed a doozie to not have things go as planned, especially when you are a natural planner. So Congratulations on delivering a beautiful healthy baby girl! You got your first lesson in real life parenting … CHAOS! Sending best wishes to your now-family-of-three ❤️

Thank you for sharing your story 🩷 I hope you had a safe and happy delivery experience! The surprise change of plans can be scary / nerve racking but knowing your baby is on the other side is so empowering! Thanks for the well wishes! We are all doing great 🤗

I just went through a very similar experience with my sister, so I'll be sure to share your story with her; I hope it helps her see she's not alone.

My very best to you, Truman, and Rosie!

I had an emergency C section. So I can relate to all that happened, especially those thoughts inside your mind. It’s for the good and you have a healthy baby.
